Carlsberg Malaysia wishes consumers a "smooth sailing in a year of abundance" with an auspicious Chinese New Year campaign
There's still a month to go till Chinese New Year but Carlsberg was already welcoming the Year of the Sheep with traditional drums, lion dance, mini fireworks, God of Prosperity, ang paos, huge delicious roasted pork, beers and a 28-feet-long ship at Oasis Ara Damansara last Thursday (15 January). Carlsberg bids goodbye to the tragic Year of the Horse and hopes that all consumers would sail smoothly into the coming new year.
The coming CNY actually holds a very special meaning to the brand as Carlsberg was born in the Year of the Sheep as well in 1847. No wonder why they're having such a big campaign. And here are some photo highlights of the event that night:

Can't believe I missed last year's CNY entirely. I can't wait for Chinese New Year to go home!
