Tiger Beer campaign 'Abundance of Prosperity' to reward its loyal Malaysian consumers with cash and prizes worth RM2 million in total
Unlike the Chinese New Year campaigns by beer brands in the past that has minimal chances for us to win jack, Tiger Beer Malaysia's campaign Abundance of Prosperity is giving 1 million consumers a chance to get something — from RM8,888 cash angpaos to RM2 rebates on beer purchases and Tiger Beer playing cards. The chances are so high in this that you might even be lucky enough to win several times although I'm not sure if the T&C allows it.
The mechanics, however, is very familiar to say the least — purchase any big bottle of Tiger Beer, Heineken Beer, Guinness Stout, or Anchor Beer at coffee shops, food courts, and restaurants, and check the bottle cap liners to see if you’ve got a rooster with an A, B or C. And in attempt to make CNY more fun, Tiger Beer Brand Ambassadors and the God of Prosperity will be visiting more than 180 venues around the country, and roving teams will also be out and about to spread the joy to approximately 1,200 additional outlets throughout the month. Promotions, on-ground engagements, and games with cash and prizes await consumers.
Exclusive CNY packaging on 18-can and 24-can packs of Tiger Beer available at supermarkets and hypermarkets. The special 18-can packs - available at selected Giant and AEON stores throughout Malaysia — also include two sets of exclusive Tiger CNY ang-pow packets.
